A family of ultralight minimalist pouches offered in a range of new sizes, colors, and fabrics, designed to give you total organizational bliss for all the random odds-and-ends you’re traveling with, whether you’re hitting the backcountry for a week, visiting family for the weekend, or just running through your weekday routine. Based on our full-featured and astronomically popular original Packing Cubes, Ultralight Packing Cubes are stripped down to the essentials: a single volume with a single zip for access.

But don’t go around calling these cubes simple—thoughtful features are abound. Choose from 2 fabrics: our weatherproof Terra Shell™ 50D material, and our see-through nylon stretch mesh. Terra Shell™ cubes have taped seams and weatherproof UltraZips™ for enhanced water and tear resistance, while the stretch mesh can expand to double the max volume, and is also ideal for things that need to breathe. Turn your cube into an ultralight sling by attaching an adjustable carry strap or PD camera strap (both sold seperately) to the Cord Hook™ carry loops. Or mount your cube externally on any Peak Design bag via 2 external carry strap pass-throughs—a whole new dimension to modular organization. When not in use, Ultralight Packing Cubes fold totally flat and can be rolled up and cinched with the elastic zip pull cord. Keep a few of them on hand in your pocket or bag—you’ll never stop finding uses for them.

The Ultralight Mesh Packing Cube offers stretchy material that allows its volume to expand by up to 2x, accommodating bulky or oddly-shaped items. This flexibility ensures that you can pack more efficiently, making it an ideal choice for travelers needing additional storage space without compromising on the packing cube’s compact size when empty.

 

See-through Mesh

The Ultralight Mesh Packing Cube features a breathable nylon mesh design that allows moisture to escape, helping to prevent mildew—perfect for storing wet clothes or gear. Its see-through material enables you to quickly identify the contents without having to open the cube, making packing and organization more efficient.

 

Weatherproof

The Ultralight Packing Cube is designed with Ultralight proprietary Terra Shell™ 50D material, which is both highly weatherproof and durable. Its face and back coatings, combined with taped seams, ensure that contents stay completely dry, no matter the conditions. The weatherproof #5 UltraZip™, crafted from a proprietary abrasion-resistant thread, is built to last for decades, making this packing cube perfect for long-term use and outdoor adventures.

 

Converts Into A Sling

Both styles of ultralight packing cubes can be converted into an ultralight sling bag by attaching the Flat Hook Carry Strap (sold separately) to the Cord Hook™ external loops. These loops also function as counter pulls, ensuring easy opening and closing of the packing cube. This dual functionality provides added versatility for travelers, allowing them to carry their gear hands-free when needed.

Both the Ultralight and Ultralight Mesh Packing Cubes are crafted with sustainability in mind.
